There was a time when I took a lot of time and careful precision to wrap Christmas presents. And then one day it finally dawned on me that the paper was just going to be ripped to shreds in a few seconds of present opening madness. That’s when I stopped wrapping presents perfectly and opted for a more “creative” approach. I like it. Now not only do my gifts have a certain “style” of their own, but everyone knows exactly which presents are from me, and they don’t even have to read the label!
The only thing I have to be careful of is people mistaking my gifts for crumpled pieces of wrapping paper…
